RIVIERA RETREAT has been designed by Suzanne (an experienced holiday property owner) especially with your needs in mind. When it comes to holiday accommodation Torquay, there’s nowhere better for a big group.

The great communal spaces start with a spacious lounge with 2 dining tables & chairs, 4 large comfy sofas & extra footstools, 65” smart tv, music speakers, a cosy snug seating 8 & even a baby grand piano!

Fabulous games room with it’s own bar with 2 drinks fridges, 7-foot pool table, dart board, several games consoles, 65” smart tv, board games & toys for the kids.

The kitchen is fully equipped for large groups – dishwasher, 2 American stainless steel fridge freezers, 2 sinks, 2 ovens, a large ceramic hob, kettles, toasters, storage, plenty of crockery, glass-wear, kitchen utensils, pots & pans. Separate utility room with washing machine & dryer.

Sleep well in 10 comfortable double bedrooms (9 ensuite), some have sea views, all have a flat screen TV. There are double, king, twin and superking size beds, all with great mattresses. Baby travel cots are offered complimentary if required. In total there are 10 modern bathrooms plus a cloakroom, all newly fitted in white and chrome furniture.

Outside is a charming, decked dining area for the warmer days, and a separate seated smoking area is also provided. The townhouse is on a quiet leafy street where there is on street free parking.AY?

When are you opening after refurbishment?

We are taking bookings from mid June 2021

Are there restaurants near you?

Yes. Lots. We are just 5 minutes walk from the harbour, beach, all central amenities and plenty of bars and eateries on the walk!

Are the bedrooms doubles?

11 of our 12 bedrooms are ensuite, with a double or twin beds and one 4 poster! There are extra sofabeds available, subject of course to government restrictions on gatherings indoors.

Do your bathrooms have baths?

All rooms have showers only.

Do you take stag & hen groups?

We accept appropriately behaved stag and hen groups that will treat the property and our neighbours with respect. A larger deposit may be requested against damages and disturbance.

FAQs

Can your rental be used for corporate trips?

Yes. It’s a perfect alternative to a hotel. The lounge and dining room can be adapted to provide space for presentations and training seminars if required.

How will COVID affect our booking?

We are adhering to the latest Government guidelines on cleaning standards and procedures alongside our normal high hygiene standards.

Our bed linen is washed at 90 degrees which is over and above the recommended 60 degrees. We are asking guests in 2021 to bring their own towels which are easily identifiable, to limit potential use by the wrong person of such personal items during your stay.

All knick knacks and ornaments in the room are washed thoroughly between guests and all light switches, plugs, switches and remote controls are wiped with a recommended solution.

Hand sanitiser is available in the communal rooms at Riviera Retreat.
